It seems to me that it should at least be the same main character, but on different adventure, to be a 3 part series? Braveland Pirate begins with a traveler embarking on a journey, with empty pockets, but a head full of hopes of discovering an amazing adventure. Everything is basically the same in all 3 games except the theme of the game, which are all 3 different so I'm not sure how this qualifies for a trilogy. I wasn't impressed with the original Braveland, or the second game in the trilogy, Braveland Wizard, and other than the theme, Braveland Pirate is no different! The graphics are old school, and there's way to much dialog in between battles, you don't even get to pick and choose your battles, you just move along the board in a TM fashion. Rated 1 out of 5 by pennmom36 from SHIVER ME TIMBERS I'M GLAD THE TRILOGY IS OVER! Braveland Pirate is the third and final chapter of this turn based, strategic battle based RPG. It's not just about winning, it's about winning well. Differing strategies allow you to improve your game. There are an infinite number of possible pathways you follow: Not all of the characters available are needed, nor are all of the equipment and magic which you can purchase. You can replay the game endlessly trying to improve past performances. The program will save up to three games, including the final score. You can successfully complete the game regardless of the total score, but the challenge is to get the highest possible score. As this score increases to the next goal level, your abilities are also increased. The less obvious goal is to achieve more experience points, which translates to a total score. You acquire gold from battles, and use it to purchase everything from equipment (weapons, armor, etc) to skills and magical abilities, to even purchasing additional warriors. The obvious challenge to the game is simply to defeat the collection of opposing characters. The characters change in each new edition, but the concepts remain pretty much the same. This is the third (and hopefully not final) chapter in this unique series. I hope you will beat this difficulty.Rated 5 out of 5 by maineiac48 from Third Chapter, Still Entertaining. Wait the level 8 with all your units for having a chance to beat him. Last thing: The fight with the miniboss on the sand stage, at the south, for the sand sword item, is really really hard.
With the others ( archer/crossbow/healer ), focus the distance guys if no one rush your units who are not tank, and if an ennemy attack you, down him quickly for save your troup.
With your rogue, always try to kill archer / mage ennemy. With your farmer / soldier, tank the boss, big ennemy or soldier ennemy. So when you can, only buy the others unit, never item.īegin by the green fight on the map, they are easier. And your team will never change after that. You will change them by the crossbow guys at the end. Second tips : At the begin, play with archer, rogue, farmer, healer and soldier. Except when you will be level 9 with all units buy. English is not my native language, so excuse me for the fault, i will try to be clear.įirst tip : Never buy item in this mode. I will try to explain how i beat the game in difficulty mode.
